Alley Repertory Theater’s second season promises to be a passionate one. Through Mainstage works by noted playwrights Aditi Brennan Kapil and Edward Albee, our first New Works reading series, and an irreverent Alley Underground comedy by writers/actors/directors Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Showalter, and David Wain (who brought us Wet Hot American Summer), we’ll tackle love, language, and communication, and how they collide for better or for worse.

SEX a.k.a. Wieners and Boobs shows for 2 weeks only in Dec.
Alley Underground will stage SEX a.k.a. Wieners & Boobs from Dec. 9 to 19 on Wednesdays through Saturdays at Visual Arts Collective (VaC). SEX comes from comedians Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Showalter and David Wain, the creators of Wet Hot American Summer, Stella and The State. The play follows the pitfalls of the new sheriff of the corrupt town of Teaneck, New Jersey, as he faces a crime boss armed with henchmen and a legion of hookers and gigolos. With SEX, audiences can put a little ho in their holidays, for two weeks only. Preview Dec. 9, opening night Dec. 10, and closing night Dec. 19. Doors open at 7 pm, show starts at 8 pm.
